This year, representatives from 57 universities from across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore were showcased as part of the Asia-Pacific 3MT competition. Two judging panels selected 8 finalists from the 57 competitors to progress to the 2022 Virtual Asia-Pacific 3MT Final. The People's Choice winner of the Semi-Final competition has also progressed to the Final as the Wildcard entrant.
On Wednesday 19 October, the nine finalists came together to discuss the significance of their research in a zoom livestream for the Asia-Pacific 3MT Final.
